How To Draw A Helmet On A Knight

  • Footstep i

Discover a medium-sized plate or basin slightly bigger than the circumference of your head. Place it face down on a piece of card and depict around it to make a circle and then draw a triangle on one side of your circle to plow it into a teardrop shape.

  • Step ii

Now draw an outline virtually 2cm wider than the edge of your teardrop shape. Cut along this line to make the top of your helmet.

  • Step 3

Now cut slits between the outer border and the original outline of your teardrop shape to create tabs, then curve these down carefully forth your original outline.

  • Footstep four

To make the sides of the helmet, cut a rectangle of card most 30cm by 60cm. Fold in half and cutting a triangle off the bottom every bit shown in the diagram.

  • Step 5

With the card still folded, place this over your caput and mark what level your eyes are on the front of the helmet (the folded edge). With the bill of fare even so folded, cut a slit for center holes approximately16cm wide (8cm either side of the fold)

  • Step half-dozen

Now open out the card. Using the fold to fit to the point of your teardrop, gum the tabs to the flat edge of the main piece. Tape the two ends of the main slice together.

  • Step seven

To make the visor, download the two visor templates. Now use tape to adhere the two downloadable templates to a piece of carte and ask an adult to carefully cutting out the templates along the dotted lines.

  • Step 8

Gum along the flap on one of your two visor templates and stick them together equally bear witness in the diagram above.

  • Pace 9

Place your visor so the middle lines upwards with the eye slit at the front of your helmet. Belongings the visor in place, push two paper fasteners through the holes on each side and open these out within the helmet to attach it. Colour in to complete your look!
